Our training program provides a foundation of theory and practice in food literacy education. The training equips teachers to implement the Food is Elementary curriculum by modeling the teaching strategies and providing materials that can be used in the classroom.

The training is open to educators focused solely on food literacy and for teachers from other disciplines looking to incorporate food-based learning activities into their core curriculum.

The training takes 2 full days but can be broken up into sections to meet the needs and timeline of the client.

We conduct trainings for the schools and organizations we are consulting with, and trainings can also be scheduled upon request at a specific site for a minimum of 9 participants.

“Antonia is a superb teacher who masterfully trains teachers in implementing the program and integrating a wide variety of disciplines”

Joan Egner, Cornell University Emeritus Professor of Education
