Vitamins: Eating a Rainbow for Health Workshop
Overview of Workshop
Welcome! In this Food Educator Workshop, we will explore the vibrant world of vitamins and discover creative strategies for teaching students how eating a rainbow of colorful whole foods supports growth, energy, and well-being. This workshop is based on the Vitamins lesson plan from the award-winning Food is Elementary curriculum. This lesson plan introduces background information and practical strategies for teaching students of any age about essential vitamins – why you need them, and where to get them.
